The Adirondack 46
Listed below are the "official" 46 High Peaks of the Adirondacks over 4000 feet, as defined by the ADK 46er Organization. To become a 46er, you must climb all of these peaks. Some of the peaks are not actually over 4000. However, when the list was commissioned, the elevation of these peaks was deemed to be over 4000 feet, and, in deference to history, they remain as part of the required list. The official 46er organization's web site can be reached by clicking here
I've also included select other peaks beyond those in the official adirondack 46. In order to list them separately from the adirondack 46, they are shown below a line. Some of the 'height order' values are a bit unusual - for example, the fact that the four non-4000-foot 46R peaks are listed before #47, MacNaughton, which is clearly higher than they are.
Clicking on a mountain's name in this list will take you to a page of information specifically about that mountain.
