Hite Road
(Waterhole Flat to Highway 95)
The Hite Road (I'm not sure that this is its exact name) goes from Highway 95 just north of Hite, to a junction at Waterhole Flat, where it joins Flint Trail and Land of Standing Rocks trail (and some other road, the name of which I forget). This road is wide and well-graded, as of the time of this writing, and is the shortest and easiest way to get to the Land of Standing Rocks Jeep Road (coming in from the north via the Flint trail is definitely longer and rougher).
As I've just mentioned, the road is wide and well-graded for pretty much all of its length. In its quest to stay mostly level, the road traverses into and out of a couple of big canyons along the way. Scenery throughout most of the road is excellent.
Here is a google-based map of the road from Waterhole Flat to Highway 95 near Hite. The actual track is marked in red on the map.
