Roland's endless quest for the perfect tree-and-sky shot. This quest never strayed much out of his conciousness during our week in the Escalante. From the lowliest bush to the grandest tree: if it branched and if it had some sky behind it - it was noticed. and photographed. and again. and again. Here's the result, on two pages of unadulterated tree-and-sky glory. (plus a few non-sky tree shots thrown in for good measure).
