After completing our hike, we drove into Lake Placid to obtain the groceries necessary for cooking our dinner, then headed over to the Wilmington area to meet Jean and Isabel at the cabin. They were waiting outside on the cabin's porch, having arrived 30 minutes earlier.

The cabin is a quaint A-frame affair - quite small, but very cosy. It has one regular bedroom, a loft area with two single beds, and a pullout couch. It is quite thickly decorated with all manner of northwoodsy stuff

After a nice meal and a quick slideshow of our recent Hawai'i Trip, we hit the hay. The next day was going to be a combination of mountain gear shopping, climbing, and bit of tourist-trapping.
