A fantastic view
Your ferrata climbing is now over, and you are only a short ways from the summit of Tofana di Mezzo. Taking care to follow the waymarks, the route ascends with some easy scrambling along the now-broader ridge towards the summit. Eventually you will reach the perimeter fence of the touristy area near the summit, and from there it is only a couple of minutes to the summit cross. Congratulations - you've completed a challenging route!

If the day is clear, you've got fantastic views in all directions, including into the Alps north into Austria, the Tofana di Dentro in the foreground, Cortina D'Ampezzo 7,000 feet below, and many other surrounding mountains.

From the summit, you can see the deck of the upper cablecar station. A wide path leads down to it. If you started up on the chairlift system at Pietofana, you can then purchase your one-way return ticket back down two sections of the lift system to Col Drusie, and from there walk a short bit of gravel road back to the parking lot at the Pietofana chairlift station.
