This image gallery captures a most pleasant Canada Day 2012, enjoyed by myself, Jenn, Miriam and Asmir. Blessed with a warm day of sun and clouds, we first journeyed to the National Capital Region's nearby wilderness park - Gatineau Park - to enjoy a few hours of quiet paddling on one of its many lakes. Then it was back to Asmir's place for a backyard barbeque, and then on to busy downtown Ottawa, where we joined with tens of thousands of others to watch the festivities and fireworks.
