Andrew's Departure

Tuesday, May 14

I got up super early today and quietly let myself out of Giovanni and Filomena's house. George was pretty jetlagged and didn't wake up or notice me leave. Soon I had dropped off my rental car at the Naples airport and was checked in to my flight home. My connections were very convenient and on-time, and I had a smooth and pleasant ride back to Ottawa.

Meanwhile, back in Italy, George took up the torch of documenting the remainder of the trip (all of the pictures from this point on are from him). Here's a few showing the goings on while I was winging my way back to Canada. Apparently the cold weather continued... to the point where my Aunt Rosetta actually tried to light a fire in the living room fireplace (unsuccessfully).
