A brief section of good twisties
From Newcastle, we connected up some more pleasant farm roads until we hit the interstate, at which point we stopped looking for back-roads and just made high-speed time in a general northeast direction, first on I-64 and then on I-81. We made it as far as Harrisonburg, VA before we called time and stopped at a Super 8 for the night. Today had been an even longer day than yesterday: nearly 700km (400miles) of driving and almost sixteen hours of elapsed driving time (from motel pull-out to motel pull-in). Still, we couldn't have been happier about how the day had gone.
