Pennsylvania
State Route 125
A ridge-crossing route in ridge-and-valley country. Decent twisties in spots, especially for Pennsylvania. Beautiful farm countryside in between ridge crossings. Speed limits drop anytime a curve in sight, however.

Rankings and ratings explained |
PA-125 runs across ridge-and-valley country in east-central Pennsylvania, not far from Interstate-81. Although the ridges here are a faint, gentle echo of the big ridges of West Virginia and Virginia, there are still some fairly decent twisties where PA-125 crosses them. And, in the valleys between the forested ridge crossings, PA-125 undulates through some very pretty farm country.
The pavement quality throughout is very good, and traffic is moderate. The only real fly in the ointment is Pennsylvania's speed limit policy. Any sort of good twisty immediately brings on a white 40mph sign, something you would never see in surrounding states (e.g. NY, WV, VA, etc).
Overall, a pretty nice route for Pennsylvania, but only average in the grand listings of twisty roads.
