One highlight to the evening was the presentation to my Dad of a lifetime membership to the local golf course. He's been a member there for thirty or forty years, and when George suggested to the club that perhaps they could do this for his 90th birthday, they were keen on the idea. He was clearly quite happy and proud to have received this, and knowing my Dad, he will waste no time in showing this around to anyone who crosses his path!
