What makes the desert so fascinating? My impression of that area underwent a complete
transformation after spending a week with you and sleeping under the stars with just
the sand for a pillow. And what a sight poking your head out to look at the stars. You
feel yourself immersed in a strange environment removed from the usual mundane
existence. You could even call it "a cleansing of the soul".
Enjoyed your account - brought back so many pleasant memories. I felt that I was there
with you. DAD
