Music for the evening was by a female AC-DC tribute band (called "AC-D She"). The mostly male audience seemed pretty enthralled with them, and by the end of the evening there were many hoarse Java-nerds screaming their appreciation with fists in the air.

Well, this was it - the final day of the conference! Things were winding down; and there were fewer sessions today. The final general session reflected that, with content more firmly in the "let's have fun" column.

Chris and I decided to get up extra early, skip the standard JavaOne bagel-and-juice breakfast, and head to a local legend: Dottie's True Blue Cafe, a little hole-in-the-wall eatery that had a supreme reputation.

After breakfast, it was time for our final walk down to the Moscone Center.....
