From the Rocky Mountains, we drove as far eastward as we could that day, through endless prairie, reaching as far as Lincoln, Nebraska before checking into a motel. The next day we managed to cross the rest of Nebraska, Iowa, and Illinois. We stopped in South Bend, Indiana, where the headquarters of the Tire Rack is located, so I could get myself a new set of rear tires for the S2000, which were now completely devoid of tread. There was a notre-dame football weekend thing going on in South Bend, and it was hard finding a place for the night.

Tire Rack Global Headquarters
I mean... REALLY worn out
Saturday morning we awoke and got the tires changed at the Tire Rack, and then drove the last little bit of our journey, a measly ten-hours' worth, back to Ottawa. We'd circumnavigated an amazingly large area, and, despite all of the misfortunes and bad weather, it had still been a lot of fun.
