A bit of talus
A bit of snow
Lower lookout waterfall
Parking lot in sight
In all, this is a decent-enough peak for a day hike (in fact, it's really a half-day hike), although I would have preferred less trees near / on the summit. Although by no means unenjoyable, my guidebook made this climb sound a little bit nicer than I found it to be.
Alpental Parking Lot
Snoqualmie Mountain
Back to Rain
The next day I continued my June 2016 northwest trip by getting on an Amtrak train and heading north to Vancouver, to do some outdoor adventuring with Arn's brother Kyle. You can read about that segment of my trip by following this link.
