Final Ski of the Year - Gatineau Park Cross-Country Skiing, trails 15 and 5.
March 23, 2014
The winter of 2014 was deep, long and cold over much of North America. For me, this meant lots of great cross-country skiing conditions in the hills of Gatineau Park, near Ottawa, Canada (and by extension, near to where I live).

I usually don't take my camera when going on cross-country ski outings, but today I decided to do so - in tribute to a good year of skiing and because it was such a beautiful and sunny "winter-in-March" day.

As it turned out, shortly after this ski, the end of the long and cold winter finally arrived - making this my last ski in Gatineau Park for the 2013-2014 winter season. Hope you enjoyed the pictures.
