Commemorative Plaque
Cog Railway Station
Mt Washington Cog Railway
It was getting near dusk as we arrived at the junction for the trail leading to the parking lot and the trail leading to the bottom of the Cog Railway. Seeing as Asmir's knees were starting to hurt, I encourage he and Jenn to take the shorter and higher (i.e. less elevation loss) trail, and I would jog down to the parking lot and bring the car up to the Cog Railway station, thereby saving him having to do extra elevation loss and distance. It was a longer jog than I had expected; however, I eventually had Asmir's car up at the Cog Railway, were Jenn and Asmir were waiting, seated on a bench.

We performed the car shuttle back to Pinkham Notch (this time choosing the southern route along highway 302), where we said goodby to Asmir and headed our separate ways.
