We soon descended steeply, reaching the closed (in winter) Mitzpah Spring Hut. From here, we followed a well-worn connector path down towards the Crawford Path. It was then a straightforward moderately-steep grade down to the parking lot, with the only complaints being a lot of snow-balling on the base of our snowshoes and some sore knees and muscles. Overall, this hike had turned out fantastically: the already scenic route was doubly-enhanced by the variety and drama of the weather, and by the gentleness of the conditions. Hard to beat that combo!
