We all had an appointment at a dinner party this evening, and we needed to get back to the car at a reasonable hour. As a result, we marched back to the parking lot at a boot-camp pace, not stopping much, and moving at a rapid clip. We stayed on the 'proper' herdpath the entire way back, crossing and recrossing at the right points. When looking at my tracklog, you should consider the return path as the 'correct' route. We arrived back at the car at about 4:10pm. The slide climb was great - it was everything that I'd heard it to be. The bit of cramponing added a bit of spice, but I am also looking forward to doing this slide in the winter as part of a greater Dix Range circuit.
Marked stream crossing
