This is a view of part of the Cowley Ridge Wind farm, located not far northwest of Pincer Creek, Alberta. This is the site of one of Canada's earliest wind power generation installations, in 1992. the old original turbines are visible on the left. Newer enhancements to the wind farm, using more modern wind turbines (see on the right) came later.
