Several groups of Appalachian Trail through-hikers arrive at the summit of Baxter peak, marking the end of their 6 month, 2100 mile hike from Georgia. Amazing! The majority of the hikers in the forgeround in this picture are part of one of these groups. The through-hiker in the foreground went through four pairs of hiking boots over the summer!
