After the bonus of seeing whales in the ocean, next up was a North Pacific sunset. The angle of Kalalau Beach is such that it is well positioned to watch the sun set just to the right of the pali, providing wonderful views. Especially when there is pounding surf, like this night.

After sunset pose

After watching the sunset, it was time to return to our campsite and make some dinner. It had been a long but extremely rewarding day - especially the final four miles or so. Simply spectacular.
