Pu and Jenn hike back
Skilful Chamois
Ossario del Pasubio
Towards the end of our return journey (or, close the the start of the tunnels, if you are approaching from the other direction), there was a particularly interesting tunnel complex - sort of a spiral loop, where the tunnel gains elevation all in one place. There were several portholes and side tunnels in this area, including one side tunnel that goes to a vintage WWI cannon. very neat.

It was relatively late - dusk, almost - by the time we arrived back at our starting point, and completing our long narrow loop. Overall, this wasn't a particularly hard ferrata, and mostly it was hiking. But by golly, it certainly was an impressive and scenic introduction to the area!
