Misty Nose
The clouds have now rolled in completely, and we can only partially see the nose route of Mt. Arrowsmith. It starts off slightly to the left of the ridgeline (through the vegetation), then climbs directly up the crest to the summit. Exposed in places for sure! [enlarge]
The Crux
This is the lower part of the 4th class crux section on the nose route of Mt. Arrowsmith. If you look closely, you can see one of the anchor / belay points that are provided. [enlarge]
The nose marks the crux of this entire route. It is exposed class 4 - but, two very solid belay stations are provided - one at the base of the 4th class section, and one at the top. With a rope and some simple belaying, it should not be too difficult for most people to climb this.

A glimpse to below
On the descent, we start to see holes into pretty sub-alpine scenery below. [enlarge]

We lived!
Arriving back at the truck after a long day. We did not achieve the summit, but we did have a good day. Perhaps tomorrow..... [enlarge]
