While using
a profile, it is possible to view, create and delete any gear items
associated with that profile. Gear items associated with a profile
are also known as private gear items. These items are only visible
while using that profile.
Adding
a new private gear item When
using a profile, a new field (the new item field) and button
(the Add button) are visible at the bottom of each gear category.
Use these controls to add a new gear item to a profile. Enter the
name of the item into the new item field, then select the
Add button. The screen will refresh and the new item will
be visible at the bottom of the gear category. The item is shown
in red to highlight the fact that this is a private gear item for
this profile. Additionally, the item will have a Delete button
next to it.
The new
private gear item will remain in the profile until deleted (by selecting
the Delete button next to it).
Removing
an existing private gear item Private
gear items may be removed from a profile by selecting the Delete
button next to that gear item. The gear item will then be permanently
removed from the profile.
