R. Fraccaroli and C. Carega
Continue following the ridgecrest over the highpoint and down to a point just below the rifugio, where the route ends at a junction with a main hiking trail coming up from below. It is only a few more steps up to the Rifugio Fraccaroli to the left, and a few tens of metres higher than that if you want to climb the easy summit cone of Cima Carega itself.

Cima Carega
To descend, you can either take the main E5 hiking path back down to the Passo Pelagatta and catch the military road there, or you can take 108 or 108B along or down the Costa Media Ridge, both of which will lead down towards the Passo Pertica and the old military road (these variants are shorter and offer more variety of scenery). The trail along the Costa Media Ridge - path 108 - is especially scenic.
