Haystack Mountain
A distant view of the summit of what I consider to be the Adirondack's "best" mountain - 4960-foot high Haystack Mountain. The Adirondack's third-highest peak. This mountain is great because it is remote, has extensive alpine terrain, and is positioned such that there are great views of other nearby high peaks. As seen from Big Slide's summit.
