Elevation Profile Mistakes
I thought it was important to clearly point out how the 2021 Fundy Footpath's Hiker's Guide Book's map has some major errors in it - so that anyone planning based off of the elevation profile doesn't end up at the wrong location or ends up over-extending themselves. The elevation profile at top is from the 2021 guidebook map. At bottom is our own elevation profile, carefully annotated with the correct location of major points along the route. Note especially how the guidebook's map gets Rose Brook and Goose River completely wrong. The guide's elevation profile also leads one to believe that Cradle Brook and Telegraph Brook are not sea-level (i.e. coastal) locations. They indeed are.
