Around the time we received our initial allocations, it was not possible to travel from Canada to most of Europe, including Germany. This was the reason we gave them up, in hopes of new allocations a few months later, when we would be vaccinated and when restrictions had eased. The above screenshot is from the reopen europe site at the beginning of March 2021.
