The Shepherd's Tooth
This is a view of the Shepherd's Tooth as seen from the opposite side of Cold Brook Pass. It was taken from the shoulder of a sub-summit of Mt Marshall. As you can see the lower part of the slope just above Cold Brook Pass is guarded by bands of cliffs. The upper part of the route we took ended up following the gully on the right-hand side of the tooth (as opposed to the shallow gully on immediately to the left of the tooth).
