An early morning, headlamp-lit view of our day's route: hike up the Wilcox Pass trail for a bit, then head left and up steep slopes to the top of Tangle Ridge, then east along a descending ridgeline and into the high basin of Tangle Creek, then rejoin the Wilcox Pass trail and back down to the trailhead. A nice, tidy loop.
