Since we only had one car and wanted to do a traverse from Crawford Notch to Pinkham notch, we availed ourselves of the useful AMC shuttle service. We left the car at Pinkham Notch and took the shuttle to Crawford Notch. More info on the AMC hiker shuttle can be found here.
