Biggest of them all
We encounter an illustrious ship on the waters of Lake Erie: the self-unloading bulk carrier Paul R Tregurtha. At over 1,000 feet in length, it is the longest vessel on the entire Great Lakes (and in fact, is restricted to the upper Great Lake, since its length makes it too long to fit into the locks of the Welland Canal).
