A sharp notch in the ridgeline and some signs and paint indicate a shortcut down to a spot called Castelliere. If you are doing the described loop from rif. Berti, you'll descend via this route. If you have come up via the Gondola from Moso, you'll continue north to the base of the Ferrata Nord.
