Chamber of Ten
This is the Chamber of the Council of Ten, in the Doge's palace, Venice. The Council of ten was a sort of tribunal that had a reputation of being somewhat ruthless. The oval painting in the center of the ceiling (by Veronese) is a copy of the original, which was taken by Napolean to the Louvre.
