The broad mountain in silhouette - seen in this shot taken from our backcountry campsite on Dodd - is where a very distinctive communication complex is located. The big white golf ball (not really visible in this shot) is a coast guard communications station, and there is also a cell tower here that manages to provide phone coverage to much of the Broken Group.
