Looking east towards the craggy top of Marble Peak, from a point not far due west of it. The semi-treed hollow directly ahead (down in the shade, and you can't see the bottom from here) is the col - the low point - between Marblerock Lake (off to the left) and Globeflower Lake (off to the right). The west ridge rises directly upwards in the background, to the summit.
