Rising mysteriously in the far distance beyond Mount Baker, with a thin layer of cloud acting like a real-life version of a split-screen video, is Glacier Peak. Glacier Peak is another of the Cascade volcanoes, and is a likely backup destination for us if the weather forecast for Baker continues to deteriorate.
