Shuttling the Van
A view of the south rim parkway as Gillian and I return from ferrying our rental van to the parking lot at Desert View at the eastern end of the park. Doing this ferry operation before the backpack will save me at least an hour of time at the end of the backpack, when I will have to shuttle back to the south rim to fetch the van.
