The first exit
This point in the Trap Dike, at about the 3750-foot level, is where one would traditionally exit right, out of the Dike and onto one of the big slides on the face of Colden. However, 2011's Hurricane Irene resulted in a new slide - one that joins up with the Dike higher up. That's where we're headed.
