This is "The Big D". "D" stands for Danny's - a local hotel and restaurant that also opened this 50s style drive-in restaurant in Bathurst's west end. When you eat here, you park your car in the angled parking and you wait for a waiter or waitress to come to your car and receive your order. Your order is delivered on a window-mounted tray! Super retro!
