The night of October 3 sees a large storm move through the mid and northern mountainous region of the western US. Fortunately, the Escalante area is just far south enough to escape anything serious - although nearby Boulder Mountain to the north does look a bit wintry at the moment! For us, though, just some cold temperatures and strong winds.
