Old Perugini Residence
This grand old building is where my mother's family - the Perugini family - lived in when staying in downtown Avellino during the 1930s and 1940s. It was severely damaged during bombing runs in 1944. We have a picture back home of my mother and father standing in the central balcony you see in this picture, taken from inside, with my parents' backs to the street.
