The shallow and steep-sided Hoolulu Valley, as seen from along the Kalalau Trail on Kaua'i. The peak above is known as Pohakea. It's actually just a portion of a higher ridge that you can't see from this point. The high point that is visible in the picture is about 3,000 feet high.
