Distant Central High Peaks
Whiteface offers an excellent -- if distant -- angle on the central High Peaks of the Adirondacks. In this shot, the highest mountain in the state -- Mount Marcy -- is at the right edge of the view. Basin and Saddleback are the peaks on the left. In the center is a perfect view of perhaps the best peak in all of the Adirondacks - Haystack Mountain.
