The Boundary
This shot, taken by walking out on some gooey seaweed some ways out towards the sea, gives a nice panoramic look at the business of things at Green Point. You can see how the strata have been tilted severely - in fact, over 90 degrees. The younger Ordovician rocks are on the left, and the older Cambrian rocks are on the right. The boundary point of these two geologic eras is indicated by the yellow line.
