Churchill Falls
This is the pretty -- but much emaciated -- Churchill Falls. Note the wide and deep riverbed within which the Churchill River flows. You can imagine how the river was a churning maelstrom of force going over this precipice, before the upstream waters were diverted into reservoirs and into the Churchill Falls powerplant.
