Northern Taiga
A view of the increasingly boggy nature of the boreal forest as we drive north of Gagnon on highway 389. Taiga and Boreal seem to be interchangeable, but I prefer to reserve Taiga for this more northerly, barren landscape. Note how the trees are almost entirely short black spruce here.
