Jenn realizes the magnitude of the distance we will be covering today. We will ultimately be hiking over Boott Spur, which is the highpoint just to the right of Mt Washington. It does indeed look like a long way away from here. You can see much of the gently undulating Montalban Ridge leading to it from here, too.
