This is the Torre dei Lamberti, one of the main landmarks in downtown Verona. Built in 1172 and renovated in 1464, with the clock added in 1779. It's quite high and the climb to the observation deck is well worth it. The tower is immediately adjacent to the equally pretty Piazza delle Erbe.
