The Reginal District of Nanaimo Recreation and Parks has seen fit to state that no entry is allowed into the Malaspina Galleries. Hmm... let's see, I calculate the chances of a rockfall over my head to be about 1 in 2.5 million for your average 30 minute visit (based on an average rockfall frequency of once in twenty years and with a rockfall width of 5 metres). Couldn't they just have had a simple advisory or warning? Anyway, we decided to be really really risky and go have a look anyway.
